Hearing Aids & Batteries
The Need:
Hearing aids and batteries for as the majority of our learners come from poor socio-economic and disadvantaged circumstances.
Hearing impaired learners need the best possible audiology care to ensure the best possible development of speech and listening skills.
This process starts with accurate testing(audiometer), fitting of the best possible hearing aids, regular fitting with new earpieces to keep up with the natural growth of the learner and batteries to keep the hearing aid in good working condition.
Learners with hearing loss need the best possible audiological care to ensure the best possible development of speech and listening skills.
School & Hostel Fees
The Need: As the majority of our learners come from poor socio-economic and disadvantaged circumstances, their parents can not afford to pay school/ hostelfees.
Our intention is to provide the best possible educational and residential care.
OUR HOSTELS’ NEEDS
Emergency Lights For Hostels
Needed for when power failure and in time of load shedding.
This project will provide a communication system by means of coloured lights for deaf learners
Fans For Hostel Rooms
Rooms are very hot in summer and learners do not get enough rest , which causes lack of concentration.
Average of 4 to 5 rooms per hostel , some rooms are big and need more than one fan.
Carpets And Tiling
Carpets and tiling in hostels are very old and need attention.
The residences are home away from home. To improve quality of life and instill respect, a clean and habitable environment is required. Parents are increasingly in financial constraints causing the budget to be strained.
Paint
Residential hostels are in urgent need of interior paint.
