Hostels
De la Bat School has 9 hostels which ensure age-appropriate care. All 9 hostels are within walking distance of the school and are situated on
the NID’s campus premises. Since our learners are from all over the country and some from the African continent. For this reason, we aim to create a home away from home where our learners feel safe, secure and are well taken care of.
There is also night staff allocated to each hostel. This ensures round the clock supervision and care. Homework and study times are done under the supervision of educators and hostel parents. For recreational purposes, there are supervised television programs, a DVD player and supplementary activities available. Meals are served at the residences in the dining halls of each hostel.
