Multi-Disabled

The Multi-Disabled division makes provision for D/deaf learners with additional disabilities. Here, the primary focus is to increase the learner’s independence.

Other focus areas include:

  • Vocational training
  • Developing handwork
  • Improving social skills
  • Improving communication skills

BRIDGING PHASE

This section makes provision for learners that are deaf but also have academic difficulties.

The primary focus is upon increasing the child’s independence to prepare them for School of Skills.

Subjects include:

  • Home Language
  • First Additional Language
  • Mathematics
  • Life Skills
